The last month of the year was busy here at Charity Charge HQ, but also relaxed as we wound down for the holidays. It’s great to be incredibly productive and then be able to sit back and enjoy time with friends and family knowing you deserve the down time.

CCTV Episode 002 | Dan Austin

At the beginning of December, we aired our second episode of CCTV where we talked with Dan Austin from DivInc, and accelerator which focuses on increasing diversity in entrepreneurship. It was an incredibly interesting discussion between our founder, Stephen Garten, and Dan Austin about how empowering entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to succeed in business helps push industries forward and makes businesses stronger. Named the Best Card for Giving Back of 2016

Wallaby Financial named the Charity Charge World MasterCard the Best Card for Giving Back of 2016. *insert long thank you speech here* Just kidding, we’ll keep it short. We’re thrilled by being honored with this title in our first year, it definitely helped us finish 2016 on a high note. Read more here.

Visting Commerce Bank

We went to visit our banking partner, Commerce Bank, for a few days in the beginning of December to talk about some initiatives that we will be rolling out in 2017. It’s always great to have face to face meetings with the people we work so closely with day in and day out. We also had the chance to talk to other bank employees in order to educate them about the Charity Charge program. It was wonderful to hear their enthusiastic responses and gather insights from their different areas of expertise. We don’t want to give too much away about the plans that came out of this quick and very productive trip, but we’ll just say that 2017 is going to be a BIG year, so be sure to stay tuned.

Company Holiday Party
