Their repetitive behaviors and difficulty coping with change are more obvious and interfere more significantly with their daily functioning. They require substantial support to help them adapt and manage their behaviors.
Level 3: Requiring Very Substantial Support
Individuals at this level have severe deficits in social communication skills, making social interactions very limited. They may have minimal social engagement and may find it very challenging to initiate or respond to social interactions.
Their repetitive behaviors and resistance to change markedly interfere with their daily life. They require very substantial support to manage their behaviors and perform daily activities.
