In episode 55 of the Charity Charge Show, Stephen speaks with Joe Waters, Founder of Selfish Giving whose mission is to help others find success in their cause-related goals.
Joe Waters shows businesses and nonprofits how to build win-win partnerships that raise money and change the world. Joe writes the web’s leading cause marketing blog, Selfish Giving, and is the author of two books on the subject.
Here’s a snippet from Joe on the podcast:
“It was there that I really started writing Selfish Giving because I wanted to share what we were doing at BMC, and developing our own corporate partnership and our own social media program at the time. That was really the impetus for me to really start Selfish Giving and get it going. It really does reflect the importance of doing something consistently, I don’t think that is more important than quality. But I do think that is on par with quality, that you need to do something consistently. The reason why a lot of people don’t see traction on what they’re doing, just because they’re not considering that, committing themselves to a consistent schedule. And that’s something that I’ve always been really good with. I always like to think my quality is good, but I think my consistency is even better.”
